... between books and am not really big on re-reading unless I really love the book. For instance, I know I enjoyed reading Skin Hunger last year and it had already been out for a while by the time I read it, but the sequel isn't due out until this fall (I think). It has been long enough now ... I just finished up some pretty good reads in the last week or two.
Skin Hunger - The two story element kept me interested and I feel compelled to read the sequel when it comes out.
Graceling -This book has mentioned many times on this site and I am glad that I read this book. A very ... I just scored a bunch of my wish list: Lost Horizon, Skin Hunger, The Sparrow, and The White Tiger. I started reading Lost Horizon right away and I am enchanted with the skilled writing.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Volume 18 ... ... the majority of what I read falls under the "fantasy" sub-heading. The most recent ya story that I really enjoyed was Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey. A very dark teen fantasy.
Very occasionally I'll read non-fiction. Right now I am enjoying a book written by Erma Bombeck. I had ... ... Gentlemen by Ginn Hale was a great urban fantasy crime and mystery story with a wonderful tortured hero in Belimai.
Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey, another dark fantasy, this time one written for teens. Would be great for fans of the last two installments of Harry Potter.
Gods Beha ... I really enjoyed Skin Hunger and my next YA will probably be The Hero and The Crown by Robin McKinley. "No more fakes, Sadima! The magic will be real."

Review -
When I first read the description for Skin Hunger, it sounded intriguing. Now, having finished the book, I can definitely say intriguing is only the tip of the iceberg. This was a very unusual fantasy set in a world of wizards much ... I finished Nora Roberts' Blood Brothers, read Gorgeous Carat Volume 4 and started Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey last night. I have a couple more pages in my current book and then will be moving on to Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey. I think it will be interesting to compare her writing style having read one of her earlier books (San Francisco Earthquake) to this one which is much more recent. This author has ... ... jump from adult to YA, but I guess it can go the other way, too.
Also enjoyed: The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray, Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey (SO great, will put up a review soon) and the second half of The Red Queen's Daughter by Jacqueline Kolosov (touchstone won't work for that one, ... ... War by Brandon Mull, Interworld, The Declaration by Gemma Malley, Secret of the Sirens and Gorgon's Gaze, and Skin Hunger. I'm currently reading The Cat Master by Bonnie Pemberton. #66 I read Skin Hunger a few months ago. good book but kinda confusing. hope you enjoy it.
#67 I got it from the library. I rarely buy myself books. not enough money. Currently reading Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey, Tell Me if the Lovers are Losers by Cynthia Voigt (a favorite author from my teen years, but this book is not her best), and rereading Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott.
