About meI love fantasy. I read a lot of children's fiction and a lot of classics. I re-read books all the time, so I enjoy having nice hardcovers of most books. However, I'll take paperback over nothing.

I am a seamstress specializing in formals and alterations but I sew just about everything. I also love to quilt, knit, play with Miles (my pup), run, and cook.

About my libraryI can happily say all of my books have finally made it into my catalog. Children's fiction dominates my library with a scattering of other books to keep it interesting.

I got my present from elfster. kirby drew me and she got me "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" along with a iTunes gift card.
Yay!! I'll have to make a trip to Lafayette (or maybe when we have Christmas as a family???) Btw. My friend bought me the box set of all the Twilight books so I have an extra copy of Eclipse. But it's hardcover, and I was pretty sure you wanted all your books in softcover. But just in case you wanted hardcover, you can have my extra =)
the cookies 'n creme one is a HUGE hit here. Seriously, I had to hide it so I could get the rest! My husband thinks the socks are amazing too.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
I love my socks and I LOVE my fudge you are the best!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS
I think that waiting until you've seen the movie will probably be your best bet. From what I've seen in previews and commercials, it doesn't look like the movie is based on any one book but an amalgamation of them. Not knowing how much you know about the Sherlock Holmes stories, there are only 4 novels and the rest are all collections of short stories that originally ran in magazines. The character Rachel McAdams plays appears in one short story (though she's mentioned in a couple others) and at no point is there any boxing or handcuffing people naked to beds. That's not to say that it doesn't look like a good movie, I think it does. It just doesn't look like Sherlock Holmes. So yeah, wait. See the movie. Then read the books, they're great!
That was me on FB Lefty. I will put it in the Random Train of Thought for your instant viewing pleasure. :o)
Hi Lefty - I'm writing very very late in response to your lovely note about The Dragon of Trelian! I've been neglecting my LibraryThing account for a long time, and just discovered I had a bunch of comments and invitations that I'd never seen. Anyway, I am so glad you enjoyed the story, and yes, I am currently working on the sequel! Hoping to have the first draft finished very soon.

Thanks again and I hope to be a more active LT user in the future!

Michelle :)
Hey Lefty!! hope that you are doing great!!!

Thanks for stopping by. I just finished reading Fire right before I left the country
LOVED IT! I´m not sure which book I liked best because they are both excellent. Po is absolutely wonderful and I was hoping that he was the one character whom we would recognize from Graceling, Alas....

Well honey bunny I¨m in the DR having a blast but I missed you guys terribly!!

Did you send the shark book? I never got it :(

Hey! you wanna see something really cool? Ñ cool huh?
Yes, it does amazingly well! I haven't checked but immediately felt the same cover designer / illustrator worked on The Demon King, which I was glad. The Heir covers look so nice. Have you gotten a hold of a copy of Chima's new book yet? I still haven't read it, either. There is not enough time in the months of November and December for all there is to get done. ;) Hope your weekend's off to a great start!
Thanks! I'll get on later to accept!
LOL! I checked HE before I checked my email account, so I didn't see your request!
I'm sorry! I didn't leave Purdue until like 7pm and I knew that if I came to your house I would never want to leave. Plus I had homework to do =( I'll make a special trip up soon. Promise =) Plus if I go to Purdue next year I'll be there all the time to sew and make fudge =D
Oh Lily, I could have told you what the scuba driver was going to be. *sigh*
I think it does. I'll measure him tonight when I get home. Velcro would be wonderful, because he'd just chew off buttons.
I'd love to know what you think of Outlander when you are done.
:)

So you know what the leash is great for? Cold days when you forget your gloves. I could just keep my hands in my pocket and was able to take Pepper for a longer walk than I would have with a normal leash.
