About meI don't know what to put here except that I probably read more than is considered healthy.
About my libraryI read for fun so none of my books are what I consider heavy reading. Just a lot of fiction, from Sci-fi to Fantasy to Romance to Suspense.

Just wanted to let you know I'm here for you if you need methods to deal with relatives that don't understand homeschooling.
And a friend passed this site to me. Just in case you get bored with the US map.

I am sad and unknowledgeable on the Europe map, but after you struggle through it you can pick a different continent/country. :o)

Glad you enjoyed my blog! I hope reading the comics and about our misadventures helps you. I should warn you that homeschooling is very bad for the book addicted. We end up with this reasonable excuse to accumulate more books: "It's for homeschooling." :o)

Thanks about my library. It wasn't always so busy-looking. I always feel I have too much on it now. ;) Yeah, I don't usually look at profiles much either. I remember in the days when I was new to LT, how invading I would feel by looking at profile pages and, goodness, going through people's libraries. It's a teensy easier now.

Thanks for adding me to your friends! Glad you liked my playlist!
For a six year old, I would avoid the classic fairy tale collections unless your kids are OK with body parts being cut off. :o) Try the Reader's Digest Timeless Tales From Many Lands and Best Loved Folktales of the World by Joanna Cole (of the Magic School Bus series). My kids liked picture books better than collections at that age. Any retelling by Margaret Hodges and Trina Schart Hyman would be good. Mary Pope Osborn has a neat children's series based on the Odyssey. We love Egyptian tales. Deborah Nourse Lattimore has some nice ones (warning some are out of print). If you can find it (I did through B&N out of print) get Blue Faience Hippopotamus by Joan Marshall Grant. It's a beautiful Egyptian tale about a hippo that falls in love with a princess. It always leaves me teary eyed and happy.
Can you tell I'm very opinionated on this topic?
This should be a good starting point for you!
Peace and Laughter,
Cristina

Hehe. I asked so I would know if I needed to not talk to you about it. Glad you didn't miss it! :) I agree about Christina moving in with Meredith. When she said "I'm free," she really reminded me of the main character in "The Story of an Hour," by Kate Chopin. I did see the spin off starring Addison. I don't think it can possibly be as good as Grey's Anatomy, do you? At least, not from what we saw of it so far. I think Grey's Anatomy will be strange without Addison, but I also think they only meant to have her character for a short time.
