About meI live with my seven cats, two dogs, desert tortoise, and lizard. Plus my mom, dad, & older brother (sadly). Some people think I'm quiet, but that is far from the truth! I play the flute and I LOVE ice cream. I also love animals, Disneyland, the internet, pirates, and Tinkerbell! And of course, books. I was so happy when my dad showed me this site. I can finally see how many books I have and I can rate them.

About my libraryI love fiction and I don't read that much non-fiction. I enjoy fantasy and animal books. By far my favorite books are all the Harry Potter books (esp. DH). And I love Twilight! I actually own all the books in my library (there are more books in my house but they're not mine). This is now easier to organize with collections. My goal is to read all my books so I can rate them.

Haha, I like to wait till the week it's due so I can pump out some serious papers. I edit my work so much, it's weird to edit other people's papers because I don't want to make it me and I don't think they can realize how bad their papers actually can be.
Yea, I work on it, I actually added a few today, it's nice when books randomly pop up that I've read, saves me some work. The collections make everything so much easier, I mean tags are nice, but this is way more organized!

Naw, we got lucky with the requirements and i only have 4 years... 2 yrs science, 3 years history, 2 years arts or languages, 2 years math, .5 year gym, .5 year health... im going to have 5-6 years math, 5 years science, 3 years english, and limit everything else but arts, which is 3 years... lol. I love English, but it's not fun anymore. I know grammar but I hate literature and there are no papers, especially no research papers. I love papers! We don;t get summer work unless its an AP class, and we only have 12th grade AP English... and you really should get better study habits!
Wow, sounds rough lol, but at least you enjoy it! The flute is so beautiful... I used to play guitar, I'm trying to work on playing again!
Yea, I used to love them too! I'm trying to remember all of the books I've ever read and I feel like I'm missing a ton cuz I know I've read over 600 books in my life!

Yea, I'm glad I don't have to read a book over the summer... I don't even have an English class for my senior year cuz I don't have room for it and I reaaalllly hope it doesn't come back to bite me in the ass later... :( lol And yea, Fahrenheit 451 is really boring, I think I read 5 pages in the book and then quit it :D
Sounds like a lot of fun! Do you enjoy band camp? We've had some pretty nasty band camps during the summer cuz it's been waaayyy too hot for those kids to be out there and I would ride by on my bike, happy that I wasn't one of them in the 90 degree weather! lol Though this summer should be better! What instrument do you play?

Yea, I've finally resurrected my friendships so now I'm really busy hanging out with all of them and my boyfriend. I'm also having my Brazilian friend come visit for the entire month of July! :D (She moved here for three years then moved back to Brazil). So, it's going to be amazing cuz we're gonna go shopping in toledo, cedar pointing, and going to see the Harry Potter premiere! On a more quiet basis, I've also got a lot of reading to do and I'm almost done with my volunteer hours from working with the 4-6th grade art camp!
Have you done much reading? Any other fascinating plans?!

I just noticed that you've also read some Baby Sitter's Club books that I've read.
I have a lot of Baby Sitter's Club; well not a lot but my friends gave them to me as gifts.

Congrats and you getting first and all!!!!!! That must've been really exciting! And ya, as I was reading what you said, I was like "Wow, that one was sooo close!"
Today we went to the animal shelter near my house and we adopted two kittens. Their names are Elvira and Lily (those were the names they had and I didn't wanna change them ;) ) and they're sisters. We were thinking we were going to be able to bring them home today, but they are going to get spayed on Thursday, so they'll probably be home by Friday afternoon. I'm really excited although I still miss Wilma (my other cat.) The kittens are two months old, and we were surprised to hear that they were gonna get spayed so early, but apparently it doesn't make that much of a difference.
Ya, so, keep the news comin'!
Love ya!
-Alina
Oh, by the way, you probably notice that I put way too many exclamation marks on things and you probably think that I'm an over-excited, hyper person. Hehehe! I can be at many times!!!!! Sorry about all the exclamation marks, I just can't help it! lol!

I can only imagine your brother's lizard trying to bite off teddy's head! LOL!!! I hope it doesn't die of starvation! Cuz that would be really sad...

we do have lots of things in common!!! I would love to have as many animals as you do, except my parents would only let me have another cat (I currently have one) or a dog. My mom would be afraid of a lizard, and my dad would think a tortoise is really boring ;), oh, and my cat would probably chase and kill the lizard, so I think I'm better off as I am.
By the way, I actually don't live in the US, I live in Canada, in the province of Ontario.
Glad to meet you

Yep, the cats are everywhere. The ones inside are always getting stuck behind closed doors, and only one knows how to open them. And the outdoor ones? The grey and white one once returned home completely grey! It took me forever to clean the poor girl. They get into everything. :) You ever wonder if they think they're in control of you? ;)

Wow, five cats? I have two indoor cats, one indoor/outdoor cat, and two porch cats. I'm not sure how many to count that as. :) Do yours all stay indoors?
